Goals and Objectives
1. Provide a Safe Place
To provide a safe place for those in recovery to live and learn the necessary skills to lead a productive and rewarding life. To this end, we have obtained a facility in Baldwin, Wisconsin for men with substance abuse issues. In addition, we desire to demonstrate the restorative principles of God's Kingdom in a very hand's on way. Finally, we are continually looking for opportunities to expand our efforts to reach new communities.
2. Train and Equip for Serving Others To train and equip others to meet the needs of those around them. Restoration and recovery cannot be completed until those who are recovering are actually reaching out to others in a significant way. Impact Ministries will offer a variety of classes, seminars, and workshops in different locations throughout the community to prepare lay people for the ministry of restoration. By learning to minister to the needs of others the principles of recovery are reinforced and maintained in those who are involved in meaningful service.
3. Recognize, Develop, and Encourage Leadership.
To recognize, develop, and encourage the leadership within each community served. Impact Ministries seeks to recognize the leadership potential within each community and offer volunteer opportunities to insure that the various ministries may continue. Trained leadership in the field of recovery is essential for a positive impact on the community.
